HR data exchanges in the Dutch staffing industry
In the Netherlands the SETU (foundation for electronic transactions in the staffing industry) is responsible for developing and maintaining standards that are useful in the Dutch staffing industry. The available SETU standards are localizations and specializations of the international HR-XML SIDES specification. The SETU is driven by its participants consisting of many staffing organizations. Participants are involved in the process of standardization and will have SETU support when implementing the SETU standards in their organization. The goal of the SETU is to develop and maintain the localizations and specializations of the HR-XML SIDES standards for the Dutch staffing industry. The SETU enables staffing organizations and their customers to exchange electronic information in a standardized manner. Its activities include: - Facilitate standardization workgroups for participants - Specify standards and guidelines for implementation - Provide support to participants by means of a helpdesk and tools. Staffing organizations are invited to become a participant in the SETU, while software vendors are invited to become involved as well.
